ST2 is the newest marker used to predict and stratify the risk of heart failure (CH), to predict adverse outcomes and death of patients with a confirmed diagnosis of CH, to develop CVD in the future in the population as a whole, and to select and monitor the most effective patients for therapy CH. ST2 is expressed in the heart and is responsible for pathological changes caused by chronic diseases or / and acute lesions. It reflects ventricular remodeling and heart fibrosis.
