Anti-PR3 is an ELISA test system for the quantitative measurement of IgG class autoantibodies against proteinase 3 (PR3) in human serum or plasma. This product is intended for professional in vitro diagnostic use only. Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) are diagnostic markers for ANCA-associated vasculitides. Anti-PR3 characterises granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA, formerly: Wegener's granulomatosis). The test supports the differential diagnosis of vasculitis when used in combination with other laboratory and clinical findings.
