INTENDED PURPOSE
Determination of anti-gliadin antibodies is an aid in the diagnosis of gluten related enteropathies, e.g. coeliac disease. Laboratory tests for disease specific autoantibodies contribute to diagnostics, together with clinical observations and histology of the small intestinal mucosa.
