INTENDED PURPOSE
Elevated thyroglobulin levels are found in patients with pathological changes to the thyroid gland, e.g. hyperthyroidism, thyroiditis, thyroid carcinoma. The Thyroglobulin ELISA is primarily used for postoperative monitoring of patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma.
